In the event of an accident, remember to:

- Do not admit fault
- Write down all the names, addresses, telephone numbers, car descriptions, license plate numbers and state of origin of persons involved and of the witnesses

When you call 1-800-CARSTAR we will:
- Send a tow truck
- Make rental car arrangements
- Contact a family member for you
- Call your insurance agent
- Offer a nationwide warranty on repairs

Be Prepared Roadside Kits
Basic Kit:
- Two roadside flares
- A quart of oil
- First aid kit
- Blanket
- Extra fuses
- Flashlight and extra batteries
- Multipurpose Tool (containing pliers, wire cutters, knife, saw, etc.)
- Tire inflator
- Rags
- Pocket knife
- Pen and paper
- A help sign/flag will take up a minimal amount of trunk space

- 12-foot jumper cables
- Four 15-minute roadside flares
- Two quarts of oil
- Gallon of antifreeze
- Flat head screwdrivers
- Phillips head screwdrivers
- Pliers
- Vise Grips
- Adjustable wrench

- Roll of paper towels
- Roll of duct tape
- Spray bottle with washer fluid
- Ice scraper
- Granola or energy bars
